Blind from birth, Japanese pianist Nobuyuki “Nobu” Tsujii won the joint Gold Medal at the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in 2009. He will bring his extraordinary artistry and virtuosic technique to some repertoire favorites, including Beethoven’s “Waldstein” Sonata, Liszt’s Mephisto Waltz No. 1, and Chopin’s Piano Sonata No. 3 in B Minor, Op. 58.
