My friends at the Education Department of the LA Phil told me they were looking for someone with a Ms. Frizzle vibe to host the Symphonies for Schools educational concerts. YES!!! For these special concerts, I am collaborating with music-education content creator Callan Milani, a former student of mine at the Colburn Conservatory and a very dear friend. #WINNING

The program is going to be fantastic: works by Mozart, Beethoven, Vivaldi, Piazzola, and Montgomery will help young listeners and family members learn about musical structure and harmony! The concert features Dudamel Conducting Fellow Dayner Tafur-Diaz and solo violinist Ray Ushikubo.
