As many of you know, Colburn has a Community School whose mission is training the next generation of musicians and patrons. This summer I have the pleasure of teaching in the Violin Bootcamp program for the first time, thanks to an invitation from my colleague Aimee Kreston. I appreciate the invitation and Aimee’s mission: to provide her students more context for what they’re learning, enriching them both culturally and technically.
