The final Mason Concert of the 2023 season—and it’s going to be amazing! LA Philharmonic concertmaster Martin Chalifour is joined by three talented friends—cellist Cécilia Tsan, violist Victor de Almeida, and flutist Rachel Mellis—for an evening of chamber music.

I will offer an introductory talk on the program: Beethoven’s Serenade for string trio, Op. 8, Mozart’s Flute Quartet No. 1 in D Major, and a String Trio by Todd Mason (who is not just a magnificent host but a terrific composer!)
