DESCRIPTION:It’s that time of the year again! The Philharmonic Society of Orange County presents their Concerts for Fifth Grade\, starring the Orange County Youth Symphony led by Music Director Johannes Müller Stosch. And moi? I have the happiest job of all: narrating the program and interacting directly with a concert-hall full of enthusiastic youngsters. For this presentation\, we will explore music through the lens of a hero’s journey\, thinking about what it means to become “heroic” and how every hero needs support and friendship. \nThe program includes works by Copland\, Prokofiev\, Elgar\, and Weber as well as a special (musical) appearance by the Avengers!
