DESCRIPTION:The Invited Rehearsal provides young musicians and their instructors with a rare glimpse of the Los Angeles Philharmonic as the orchestra prepares for a concert. As part of the experience\, these student musicians will gain first-hand insight into the rehearsal process\, information on the repertoire and composers\, and the chance to take part in a dynamic and interactive workshop. \nI have the honor to act as a moderator for these very special events\, conversing with young musicians and their teachers as well as hearing about their own experiences participating in a music ensemble.
