Showcasing the brilliance of female musicians and music scholars from the LA area and beyond, MSMU’s Women in Music Festival celebrates the diversity of MSMU students and highlights the power of music as a vehicle for positive social change through a rich program of concerts and presentations.

I will participate in the opening panel, “Music, Women, Diversity,” and will share my work on the subject of women and opera during the 3:30-4:10 session.

Festival-goers must register online to attend daytime events, which are free of charge and open to the public on a first come, first served basis. Tickets for the evening concert featuring Grammy-award winning MacArthur Fellow Rhiannon Giddens are available for purchase through The Da Camera Society.
