Weimar Republic, Germany, 1919-1933. Historically speaking, it’s a long way from Los Angeles 2020. So I help prepare local school music students (grades 6-12) for what they’re about to hear during the LA Phil’s rehearsal.  These exciting programs include important works by Hindemith and Weill, among others.
