This is a dream concert: the miraculous Renée Fleming singing Strauss’s Four Last Songs (with chamber orchestra) paired with Messiaen’s Quartet for the End of Time. Both of these works, deeply moving, pulse with questions of mortality, enduring love, faith and nature.
