Opening the La Jolla Music Society’s 2023-24 season with a winning program by pianist Isata Kanneh-Mason, who has gained international renown as a soloist and chamber musician, most recently serving as Artist in Residence with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra during their 2022-23 season. Among the program’s keyboard gems: Fanny Mendelssohn’s rediscovered Easter Sonata and Chopin’s Sonata No. 3 in B Minor.
