Jeremy Denk is one of America’s foremost pianists, and also a New York Times bestselling author, winner of both the MacArthur “Genius” Fellowship and the Avery Fisher Prize, and is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.

My preconcert Prelude Lecture will focus on the women composers of the program, particularly the cultural circumstances that both inspired and discouraged their creative work.
