The Philharmonic Society of Orange County presents their Concerts for Fifth Grade, starring the Orange County Youth Symphony led by Music Director Johannes Müller Stosch. And moi? I have the happiest job of all: narrating the program and interacting directly with a concert-hall full of enthusiastic youngsters. For this presentation, we will explore music through the lens of a hero’s journey, thinking about what it means to become “heroic” and how every hero needs support and friendship.

The program includes works by Copland, Prokofiev, Elgar, and Weber as well as a special (musical) appearance by the Avengers!
