Looking forward to introducing the program of another sold-out Mason House Concert! The program spotlights the flute (aka Lizzo’s favorite instrument) and more specifically the astounding talent of 15-year-old flutist-composer Nikka Gershman, a National YoungArts Winner and the “youngest musician in the history of the Pasadena Showcase House Instrumental Competition to win the Grand Prize for Exceptional Talent and Musicianship Award over all categories.” The eclectic and challenging program—with masterful accompanist Vivian Fan on the piano—spans three centuries: a full evening of magical flute music.  (Pun fully intended.)
