Maestro Gustavo Dudamel leads the LA Philharmonic in a program featuring beloved piano virtuoso Maria João Pires, playing Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 4 in a double bill with Strauss’s celebrated tone poem Don Quixote. LA Phil prinicipals Robert Demaine (cello) and Teng Li (violist) will give musical voice to the knight and his squire, respectively.
