A new and very welcome adventure with the LA Phil: I’m hosting the Symphonies for Youth concerts! I come to this new collaboration with special joy, not only because I remember bringing my youngest son to these concerts, but also because I am collaborating with  music-education content creator Callan Milani, a former student of mine at the Colburn Conservatory and a very dear friend. #WINNING

The program is going to be fantastic: works by Mozart, Beethoven, Vivaldi, Piazzola, and Montgomery will help young listeners and family members learn about musical structure and harmony!  The concert features Dudamel Conducting Fellow Dayner Tafur-Diaz and solo violinist Ray Ushikubo.
