Learn more about a master of the neoclassic style, Danish composer Carl Nielsen, and his Concerto for Flute. Colburn Conservatory student and new principal flutist of the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, Joachim Becerra Thomsen, is the soloist. The program also features Rossini’s Overture to L’Italiana in Algeri and Beethoven’s groundbreaking Symphony No. 3, “Eroica.”
